Firefox Canvas based First Person Shooter!

Canvas is a new tag that is being supported by Mozilla, Safari,and Opera (plus emulators in Flash) to draw bitmaps via javascript. This site is a First Person Shooter game that uses the canvas tag. It's quite cool that you can do this sort of thing even with the small amount of drawing functions canvas provides.

Oh noes!

Bah, my number one favorite site, forums.korerekon.com has had its account suspended. Here's the email I sent to the hosting site:

"It has come to my attention that one of my favorite website and forums, korerekon.com has been "suspended." I don't know if there has been some illegal activity or maybe the admin has been gone and not payed the hosting bill each month, but I would really like to know why it is down. Thanks for your time, Phillip Marshall"

They responded with this:

"Unfortunately since you are not our customer, we can not provide any information."

Oh come on. Well I hope Kore comes back soon. I bet he just forgot to pay. But I am sort of concerned for him. He hasn't been on the site for 2 weeks and even the TeamSpeak server has been down. Well I'm mildly pissed off, but happy Thanksgiving!

Xfire is an Instant messenger built around gaming. I would recommend it to any gamer, from old school players to the next-gen fanatics. Unlike other IMs, you can run Xfire while playing games. In fact, you can actually send and receive messages from inside games without having to minimize the game window. Here's an example:

MP3 player in an NES controller

Martin ingeniously hacked an old Nintendo Entertainment Center controller to act as the chassis for an MP3 player. He even got the control-buttons to drive the MP3 player. The page is in German, but the photos are cool.

Okay, here goes

This is my first blog entry, that java one was just me screwing around with my digg.com user settings. I went through my settings in blogger and found a few things i think should be set to different defaults. One example might be (oh no im talking like an essay) how it doesnt make comments require that word verification thing. you know, where you type a word that only a person could see, not a bot? anyways, 5 minutes after i posted the java post, i had already gotten spammed with crap i dont remember now, so that sucks.
ok about this blog: its just a test blog so i can figure out some html and get some ideas to write about every day, and later i might redo the whole thing over to make it a real one. speaking of wich, it probably needs some sorta theme too. like a gamer theme or a techy theme, or even a kitty theme. yes, i do love all of these, so for now, your just stuck with "a day in the life of me" where i just post random crap, most likely from digg or somethings from other blogs.
go ahead and comment whatever you want, idk as long as its not....bad. critisism is ok, heck, look at my capitalization! but dont post porn or spam. thanks for reading. you must be really bored. i guess i was too to have the idea of starting a blog in the middle of the night. ramble ramble ramble.
